Special Olympics Family Network aims to raise the awareness of parents towards the social and all-round development of people with intellectual disabilities. Parents have the opportunity to participate and share in various sports events and activities organized by Special Olympics Hong Kongthrough this platform. They will also form cheering teams to support athletes while they are competing overseas and greeting parties will also be organized to welcome the triumphant return of the Hong Kong Delegation at the airport. To encourage more participation, both local and international seminars are held by Family Network regularly to help parents better understand the mission and belief of Special Olympics, as well as giving them the opportunity to exchange their experiences with overseas members.

Family Health Forum was organized in the past few years providing health information and free health screening services to athletes with intellectual disabilities and parents and encourage them to do more fitness exercise.
